Agile with use cases - Sports Planner

I am currently writing up an example of what requirements and planning artifacts could look like in an agile and use case driven development project. It is a little bit sketchy right now and it is not self explanatory but I am working on a paper/article that hopefully will make things clearer. For now it is mostly a place where I can stick the artifacts so that reviewers of the paper can have easy access to them. I hope to be able to elaborate the example into a complete set of snapshots in time of what the artifacts could look like across the project life cycle. Who knows, I might even write some code and tests for it.

Currently the following information is available:

Name   Description   Updated
Background   The real life situation underlying this example   2009-10-06
Vision   A very brief business case/vision to provide some context   2009-10-06
Use Case Outlines   What we would have after a use case modeling workshop   2009-10-12
Product Backlog   What an initial product backlog populated with use case modules could look like   2009-10-12

About Svante Lidman

I have more than 20 years experience of software development, primarily working with software development processes and related tooling. I have been a development manager, program manager, project leader, and mentor for customers across the world. Since 2000 I have worked worked for Ivar Jacobson Intl and Jaczone (acquired). Prior to that I held management positions in software development at Microsoft, Rational Software, and Objectory and other companies.

Currently I work as a mentor/coach for organizations interested in an orderly but agile way to run their software development.

I have a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. I vaguely recollect having Christer Fuglsang, the Swedish astronaut, as a teacher in some course I now have forgotten everything about except just that :).
